Welcome to the Animal Sciences Program!

Where you can study animal health, nutrition, physiology, reproduction, as well as large and small animal management, which includes light horse production and dairy production (both conventional and organic); ethics, biotechnology, cell biology, genetics and pathology.

Students have access to professional quality facilities on campus, such as the Fairchild Dairy Teaching and Research Center, the Equine facilities, the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory and multiple state-of-the-art laboratories including an electron microscopy facility, nutrition, physiology and cell culture labs.

All of our courses are taught by faculty and all faculty serve as advisors to undergraduates. We take great pride in the many ways we engage with our students in learning and in the ways we allow students to apply what they have learned. Our success is reflected in the success and satisfaction of our graduates.
